In this idyllic time of the year with the weather so beautiful brings to mind how wonderful southern France can be and some of my sketches done there. It is nice to forget about he other news and think on things that are more eternally satisfying.

End of Summer, St. Tropez

These are from a series I painted in late August several years ago in St. Tropez overlooking the Mediterranean in an idyllic setting and perfect for this end of summer when I want to hold onto this perfect moment before all the activity begins again.
